how to use

For effective results, follow the directions of application below:

STEP 1

Dip a clean cotton swab into the pink sediment at the bottom of the bottle and apply it directly on the acne spot.

STEP 2

Do not rub it in, let it absorb and get dry naturally.

STEP 3

Rinse off in the morning.

Tips to keep in mind:

Do NOT shake the bottle, before use.
If the bottle has been shaken and the layers are mixed, do not worry. Keep it aside for a few hours till the layers are completely and visibly separate.
Once the acne spot has dried up, light fallout is expected and is normal.
Do NOT apply it on broken skin and to sensitive areas, like around the eyes and lips.

I have never used a spot corrector before, how do I use this?

This is a unique format that requires the bottle to be stable (DO NOT SHAKE THE BOTTLE) - the two different layers (Pink sediment at the bottom and clear solution on top) need to be seen distinctly. Before bed (after cleansing and toning), dip a cotton swab into the pink sediment at the bottom of the bottle. Directly apply on the surface acne/whitehead/blackhead; do not rub it in. Let the spot dry before going to sleep and rinse off in the morning. Do NOT use on broken skin. Do not apply to the eye or lip area. If product gets into eyes, rinse well with water.

Why can’t I shake the bottle?

You must resist the temptation to shake the bottle. If you shake the bottle, you will dilute the product and you will not experience true results. The key to the success of this product is its twopart formula. The layers have to be distinctly separate.

How often can I use this spot corrector?

This should be used at night - Apply directly on the acne spot/spots. For full effect, depending on your skin/skin type/lesion size, we recommend repeated application on the particular spot, till it has dried out completely.

Pro Tip: This product is designed to dry out the acne spots, so make sure to not skip using a moisturiser and sunscreen the next day. It is important to add back the moisture to your skin as part of your overall skin care to avoid dryness and breaking skin.

I ordered this product and the layers came mixed up (the pink sediment & clear solution) what should I do?

If the Overnight Acne Spot Corrector is shaken, place the bottle on a flat surface until the layers separate and the pink sediment rests on the bottom. The solution will not be effective unless the layers are separated.

Can I apply this to a pimple that I have squeezed?

We don’t recommend applying the Overnight Acne Spot Corrector on popped pimples or broken skin.

What kind of acne does this help with?

What do I do when the clear solution is over but the pink sediment is left?

Overnight Acne Spot Corrector performs at its best when both the pink sediment and clear solution are used together (Layers have to be separate). When either one of these gets over - it is time to buy a new bottle.

Should I apply the "Overnight Acne Spot Corrector" before or after the "Anti Acne Day Serum?

Overnight Acne Spot Corrector can be applied after the Anti Acne Day Serum at night. Do not apply anything on top of this spot treatment. This product should be used as a spot treatment for whiteheads, blackheads and surface acne.

Once used on the face at night, do I leave it to dry overnight and wash it in the morning or should I wash it straight away after it dries?

Overnight Acne Spot Corrector should be applied before going to bed. Let it dry fully before sleeping and rinse it off the next morning with a cleanser of your choice.

Will this product stain my pillow/sheets?

The product should be allowed to fully dry before going to bed. It will not stain the pillows/sheets but a light fallout of the product once it has dried is normal and expected.

How long will this product typically last me for?

Overnight Acne Spot Corrector is good for 36 months from the manufacturing date. How quickly you go through it though, would depend on how frequently you use it and how much you apply. We recommend that you buy a new bottle if either of the two layers get over; the product works best when both the pink sediment and the clear solution are used together.

Is this suitable for someone with sensitive skin?

While our Overnight Acne Spot Corrector is suitable for all skin types, for very sensitive skin, we suggest patch testing this product before use to determine tolerance.

Is it safe to use sulfur directly on skin?

Sulfur is a safe FDA-approved ingredient. It works to counter acne by reducing the bacteria that cause acne, and it also removes dead skin cells and excess oil. Sulfur is quite safe when applied to the skin appropriately. Products containing sulfur in concentrations of up to 10% have been used safely for up to 8 weeks. We recommend that you do not skip using a moisturiser the next day after using the Overnight Acne Spot Corrector, since Sulfur helps dry out the surface of your skin to help absorb excess oil (sebum). It is important to add back the moisture to your skin as part of your overall skin care to avoid dryness and breaking skin.
